It’s that time of year again… and we couldn’t be happier. Why? The weather is getting warmer and our calendar is full of events, which means we get a chance to come out and see our fans! Oh, and that’s right, it’s ice cream and gelato season!
Beginning May 26, Ciao Bella will be participating in a four day event in the California Bay Area at over 50 Costco locations! It could be the one near you…so walk, bike, or drive over to your local Costco and sample some of our award-winning gelato and sorbet.
For the Key Lime Pie lovers out there – why don’t you try a twist on the traditional pie? The event at Costco will be featuring our new 10 pack of Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares, a delightful treat which gives new meaning to the word delizioso!
Perhaps you’re a fruit lover – like myself – in which case I would suggest sampling from our 18 pack of sorbet single serves. My favorite is our Mango sorbet. You’ll think you’re scooping the mango right out of its skin! This is my absolute favorite Ciao Bella flavor and I must admit that I have eaten an entire pint in one sitting – but hey! Who cares! It’s fat-free! You can also sample other delicious flavors of our gelato and sorbet like our Lemon Zest sorbet, Blood Orange sorbet, or our new 12 pack of Blueberry Passion and Blood Orange Sorbet Bars.
To add to the summer kick-off, or shall we say “scoop-off,” Ciao Bella will join the festivities at the Taste of Summer charity event in New York City on Wednesday June 1.
Taste of Summer, Central Park Conservancy, 14 East 60th Street, Hours: 7pm – 11pm
You must purchase a ticket for admission but keep in mind that proceeds from the event will go to helping restore and maintain Central Park. Remember that old expression, “The more the merrier?” Well, bring a friend…or two… or ten. If you’re a busy bee and can’t make it to the event, you can still donate to the cause by visiting the Central Park Conservancy website. Read about last year’s event on our blog.
No event in your area this weekend? No problem! Bring Ciao Bella gelato to your Memorial Day celebration by visiting your local grocery store. You can save a few pennies this weekend by shopping at Whole Foods Market, Target, Stop & Shop, or Giant – two pints for $7!
