Mother and daughter enjoying a Ciao Bella sample on a hot, sunny day in Charlotte.
Elle and I arrived back in Charlotte last night ready to spread some Ciao Bella happiness in my stomping grounds for one more week before hitting the road again. I woke up early this morning to go turn the generator on (which is located at the back of the truck). Little did I realize we had parked up against some sort of a woodland jungle. As I climbed though vines and twigs I feared for poison ivy and mosquito bites but luckily escaped unscathed. Oh Ciao Bella…only for you.
Our two events today took place at Harris Teeters on Park Rd. It was a sunny day with scorching temperatures. Thanks to Billy and Don we were able to load the truck up again this morning (yes, my muscles are getting huge) and started the day with a fully stocked truck! Later this morning, a man came up and suggested we put “Ciao Bella Fun Facts” on the inside of our single serve lids. What a good idea! What do you all think?
Funny enough, this is our 12th event and today was the first time we’ve hear d the “Ciao Bella!” (“Hello/Goodbye Beautiful!”) line used on us! And it was used twice! Way to charm the Bella girls Charlotteans. Today for the first time we set up all of our tables on the same side of the truck, it has a more café type feel. Half of Park Rd. liked Blood Orange the best, the other half Chocolate Hazelnut!
Thanks for another great day of events Charlotte! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Harris Teeter on 11516 Providence Rd. from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or the Harris Teeter on 10616 Providence Rd. from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. J
