Pretty Day on Providence Road!

Hello everyone! Lauren and I had a great day today handing out samples at two Harris Teeters on Providence Road. It was a perfect and beautiful Saturday. We saw lots of people headed to the pool and the lake to soak up the sun.

We definitely have to thank Jason (the dairy manager) at the 11516 Providence Road Harris Teeter. He had everything ready and waiting on us. The shelves were completely stocked with product ready for Ciao Bella lovers.

We only have a few more days left in Charlotte so make sure to check Facebook and Twitter to find out where we will be. You definitely don’t want to miss out on our free samples. They are delish!

Bella Girls Back In Charlotte!

Elle and I arrived back in Charlotte last night ready to spread some Ciao Bella happiness in my stomping grounds for one more week before hitting the road again. I woke up early this morning to go turn the generator on (which is located at the back of the truck). Little did I realize we had parked up against some sort of a woodland jungle. As I climbed though vines and twigs I feared for poison ivy and mosquito bites but luckily escaped unscathed. Oh Ciao Bella…only for you.

Our two events today took place at Harris Teeters on Park Rd. It was a sunny day with scorching temperatures. Thanks to Billy and Don we were able to load the truck up again this morning (yes, my muscles are getting huge) and started the day with a fully stocked truck! Later this morning, a man came up and suggested we put “Ciao Bella Fun Facts” on the inside of our single serve lids. What a good idea! What do you all think?

Funny enough, this is our 12th event and today was the first time we’ve hear d the “Ciao Bella!” (“Hello/Goodbye Beautiful!”) line used on us! And it was used twice! Way to charm the Bella girls Charlotteans. Today for the first time we set up all of our tables on the same side of the truck, it has a more café type feel.  Half of Park Rd. liked Blood Orange the best, the other half Chocolate Hazelnut!

Thanks for another great day of events Charlotte! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Harris Teeter on 11516 Providence Rd. from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or the Harris Teeter on 10616 Providence Rd. from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. J

Fall in Love

When I joined Ciao Bella I was not an avid consumer. My past work experience was selling services. I knew the Ciao Bella brand from living in New York City, but I did not know much else about it. I often refer to that year – 2003 – as the year of the Malted Milk Ball for me. I literally showed up everywhere with it in tow – parties, holidays, my freezer was stocked with large gallon containers (I took the employee discount very seriously). Irresistible morsels of malted milk ball emerged from a pool of rich malted cream, the addictive crunch always made me crave more. I quickly learned that while Ciao Bella was not a service, it was an experience. It became clear, capture the experience and you capture the consumer. I was totally captured. In fact, I fell in love with Ciao Bella that summer.

Fast forward 6 1/2 years to the summer of 2009. Hands down, my favorite flavor is now Blackberry Cabernet. The succulent taste of northwest blackberries with the subtle finish of cabernet is a total indulgence for me. I savor every spoonful and glow in the thought that its incredible taste is also fat-free!

2009 is an exciting time at Ciao Bella. This summer we kicked of our bi-coastal Discover.Savor.Share. Sampling tour aimed at handing out one million free samples. Our single serve cups with a spoon tucked under the lid are sure to be a hit. We have two beautiful Pink & Orange gelato trucks with the tagline – Fall in Love with Ciao Bella. When you taste Ciao Bella, I am sure you will fall in love. I know I did. Until later. Ciao Bella!
