What a view! Where has your Ciao Bella been?

Have you ever had a view that just took your breath away? There are so many amazing sights that we pass every day without noticing – many of them in our own backyards.

It could be the beach, the mountains, the city… there is something “bella” everywhere we turn. With a busy summer coming to a close, we’ve had a chance to look back at some of beautiful places Ciao Bella has visited in the past few months. There’s a chance you’ll even recognize most of them!

Ciao Bella Sorbet – Perfect for those summer days!
Ciao Bella saw some beautiful places this summer. Where has your gelato or sorbet been?

One of our favorites: the Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt bird’s eye view of Central Park in NYC from the Penthouse Suite of the London Hotel. Anyone who has ever been to Central Park could tell you how big it is and how much there is to see – but you can appreciate the park’s beauty much more from the top floors of a NYC skyscraper!

Like most people, I usually enjoy my Ciao Bella [preferably the Passion Fruit Sorbet] on my couch with a “view” of my television. Last weekend I was able to enjoy it in the fragrance department at Saks Fifth Avenue in Short Hills, NJ while giving away gelato & sorbet samples to shoppers. Right in the middle of designer handbags, shoes, fragrances… what a perfect Saturday afternoon for a “bella girl.”

So we’re asking fans – what’s the most beautiful view you’ve had while enjoying Ciao Bella?

Refreshing, indulgent, or heavenly?

Refreshing Blood Orange Sorbet Bellini featuring Mionetto Prosecco!

Refreshing Blood Orange Sorbet Bellini featuring Mionetto Prosecco!

For the third consecutive year Ciao Bella attended the Pre -BlogHer Party hosted by MomTrends and Savvy Sassy Moms. Bloggers joined Ciao Bella along with CAbi Clothing, Stokke, MakeupForever and Hansen’s Natural Soda at the London Hotel in NYC last Thursday for the annual celebration. As guests tried on stylish clothing from CAbi, they were able to enjoy some of our delicious gelato, sorbet, and NEW Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt.

We recognize our consumers have busy lives and Ciao Bella showed blogger guests how easy it is to dress up your desserts.

Have a bottle of bubbly sitting in the fridge?  We created a “fun & flirty” Ciao Bella Sorbet Bellini featuring Mionetto Prosecco and adding a scoop of Blood Orange or Peach Ginger sorbet. (Pregnant mommy bloggers had the option of an alcohol-free ginger ale Bellini thanks to Hansen’s.)

Our new Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt was also a hit – bloggers were able to see how simple it is to make a healthy, heavenly parfait perfect for breakfast or a post-workout snack.  To please the chocolate lovers, we also offered chocolate drizzle to add a bit of indulgence to our light & creamy parfait.  For the indulgent guests, Ciao Bella also served our award-winning Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares, bite-sized triangles, with a dollop of whipped cream for an elegant presentation and additional creaminess.

Besides the stylish clothes and the amazing view of Central Park from the Penthouse Suite, the event had a great turnout with attendees from across the country and even from London, England! We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration!

Sweet Start to Summer Streets

Summer Streets only comes once a year and with nearly seven miles of the city’s streets closed-off – everyone was ready to play.  After New Yorkers were done rock climbing, zip lining, and roller blading through the streets of NYC they stopped by our carts for a cool & refreshing snack! Ciao Bella’s New Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars were a fan favorite. With only 70 calories, 9 grams of protein, and 0 grams of fat no one felt guilty about treating themselves to this tasty snack! New Yorkers also fell in love with one of our irresistibly refreshing gelato flavors; blood orange sorbet! One patron stated, “this is even better than an ice cold glass of lemonade on a hot day.”  And with sunny skies and the thermometer inching towards 90 – Ciao Bella was happy to give nearly 4000 of our fans a little relief from the scorching summer heat.  At 1pm the last sample was given out and week one was over in a flash.
