Making Sunshine on Dreary Days.

Lauren and I are back in Massachusetts and despite the cold and rainy weather we had a great day at Whole Foods. Once again, Chocolate Alba Hazelnut was the most popular flavor of the day. Our first event was at the Whole Foods on Worcester Road in Framingham. We were set up beside a little grassy area with trees and pretty flowers.

We were located near a Starbucks and were very popular with the employees. They loved the gelato and sorbet samples. After our lunch at Whole Foods, Lauren and I decided to go to Starbucks. I needed a little pick-me-up for the afternoon, not to mention I needed something to warm me up. It was about 65 degrees today, and I was freezing. I’m from South Carolina, and am used to hot, humid summer days. I’m not used to chilly days in the middle of July. When we went into Starbucks I was in the mood for something carmel flavored. I ordered a Carmel Machiato, and the sweet people at Starbucks gave it to me for free. They said since we gave them samples they wanted to do something for us in return. I just wanted to say a big “thank you” to all the employees. That was very sweet of you! If you live in Framingham, you should definitely go see them, and tell them the East Coast Bella Girls say “hello.”

We are keeping our fingers crossed that tomorrow is warm and sunny. Even if it’s not, we’ll still be making our own sunshine by passing out delicious gelato and sorbet samples.
