I was not looking, I swear. As the summer sun started to turn up its heat, I innocently took home a pint of our Peach Ginger Sorbet, new to pints in 2010. I am obsessed with Peach Ginger Sorbet. This succulently spiced and nectar sweet dessert, laced with spicy candied ginger leaves me longing for more. And I mean seriously. I have always loved fresh peaches and I have always loved something added to my ice cream or sorbet, so Peach Ginger is the perfect sorbet for me. If I am out to dinner and know I have this brightly colored pint in my freezer at home, I always pass on the dessert menu and quickly ask for the check.
Oh and while we are on full disclosure, I have also taken to sneaking into the break room and actively eating this tastebud awakening sorbet in lieu of my afternoon coffee. And, for those who know me – Caffeine and I are one. In my seven years at Ciao Bella, only my first encounters with Malted Milk Ball led me to lunchroom lingering. The label says four servings, but I interpret it as 2 1/2.
