It’s not even summer yet and things are already heating up! Ciao Bella is delighted to announce we have been chosen by the National Association for Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) as a 2012 sofi™ Silver Finalist for our Grapefruit Campari Sorbet.
One of Ciao Bella’s most dynamic flavors, Grapefruit Campari Sorbet combines the classically refined tastes of Italy with the modern flavors of America. This naturally fat-free sorbet is light on the palate and is often served as an intermezzo. The bright, citrusy flavor of grapefruit is complemented by the bitter herbal qualities of Campari liqueur.
Ciao Bella is no stranger to the sofi™ Awards with last year’s nomination of Belgian Chocolate S’mores marking our 17th sofi™ Gold Award. Other award-winning flavors include our renowned Blood Orange and Blackberry Cabernet sorbets which have also taken home the gold!
The sofi™ Gold Awards will be announced at NASFT’s 58th Annual Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C. on June 18th. If you’re attending this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show at the Walter E.
