Fall in love with fall flavors..

IMG_0760Today Elle and I could feel fall in the air! It was chilly but the sun came out and the air was crisp and fresh.

The first A&P we went to really set the tone. As soon as you walk into the store the aroma of what I took to be apple cider hits you (it could have been that I was drunk with fall festiveness). You are greeted with a dead-looking man decoration who tells you to “come here, I have something to show you…” while he proceeds to remove his head from his body. I am smiling while I frolic around the pumpkins for sale and Charlie Brown pumpkin patch balloons. Working in grocery stores everyday, it’s hard not to see and begin wanting all the new most enticing seasonal décor. This is when I decide that my Dad’s apartment is lacking in spirit. I bought a very modern looking pumpkin, it has black and copper twirlies jumping off from the stem. I also chose some pumpkin/squash salt and pepper shakers and a pumpkin scented candle. Why not, right?

If you’re as excited as me about fall as I am check out the Pumpkin Spice gelato! It has already had a request or two via Penelope..

I bought my first sorbet and gelato from you guys at an A&P recently as well….The A&P in Pleasant Valley, NY had the Blood Orange & the Tahitian Vanilla Gelato….THey were great together! I’m so going back to pick up whatever else they had-I think I saw the Chocolate and something….I’m crazy for the Fall too..I would love you guys to do a Pumpkin Spice gelato with maybe a Apple Nut Sorbet!! How does that sound?????

Hi Kathy! If you are ever in NYC during the Fall stop at one of our four gelato bar locations and grab a scoop of Pumpkin & Spice gelato. So yummy! We are also featuring Figs Balsamic gelato, Cranberry Orange sorbet and Strawberry White Tea sorbet. Head over to the link below for locations. http://ciaobellagelato.com/about/cbgelato_bars.php
