Lauren and I have finally made it back home…Ciao Bella’s home at least. We are back in New York. Well, to be more specific we are in the Hamptons! We left Connecticut Tuesday and headed towards Big Apple Dairies in the Bronx to load our freezers with product for the new week. After Penelope was full, we hit the road for Long Island.
Today we woke up to a very dreary and chilly Thursday…or should I say Monday? That didn’t upset our moods though because we were going to the Hamptons. Nothing can ruin that. This was my first experience in the Hamptons, and I loved it, minus the traffic. Although, I knew it was going to be bad, and will probably be even worse tomorrow. I loved all the shops and just the quaintness of the area.
Our second event was at the Citarella in Bridgehampton and I have to hand it to them. Their selection of Ciao Bella was probably the best we’ve seen so far. When we first got to the store, we went to check the shelves to see what they had and to make sure they shelves were stocked and orderly. I looked at the first freezer door, and saw they had a good selection of flavors. Then I turned my head to the left and saw a few more, then a few more and a few more. It was like the never-ending line of Ciao Bella. It was amazing. If you go to the Hamptons please go by and see the nice people at Citarella and buy some Ciao Bella.
Lauren and I are hoping to go exploring through the Hamptons after work one night. We want the entire experience. We want to see the beach, big houses and maybe even some celebrities. Unfortunately there were no sightings today. We’re keeping our eyes open though. We’re in the Hamptons until Sunday so make sure to check back every day to see if anyone has been spotted!
