All work, no play? No way!

gelato.gent and mangoManiac join in the fun at the Rock the Warehouse event for Food Bank NYC.

When we’re out at events, we love to have some fun, too! Last Wednesday, Ciao Bella participated in the “Rock the Warehouse” event for Food Bank NYC.

After a few hours of scooping, two ladies came over for some sorbet and introduced themselves. They told us that they were operating the Sweetbooths and that we should head over for some fun picture-taking! Gelato.gent and I considered the idea for a few minutes and then decided, “Why not?”

In exchange, we let them scoop a few cups of our Blueberry Sorbet. Anna, from Sweetbooths, and her friend made sure to warn us that they were not professional scoopers, but they had fun doing it and that’s all that matters.

We headed over to the photo booth towards the end of the night only to find event guests taking silly photos with animal hats, blow-up guitars, and sunglasses. We, of course, brought over some cups of sorbet for our pictures.

Don’t forget to always have some fun, it can’t always be all work and no play!
