Wild Berry Rhubarb Sorbet: The perfect blend of blueberries, raspberries and earthy rhubarb, this sorbet is reminiscent of the perfect summer picnic. Fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free and only 130 calories per serving.

Strawberry Merlot Sorbet: Sweet strawberries from the lush Willamette Valley in Oregon are paired with bold Merlot for a sorbet twist on a refreshing cocktail. Fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, only 110 calories per serving and an excellent source of Vitamin C.

Chunky Cherry Gelato: Creamy cherry gelato is blended with delicious chunks of cherries for the perfect summer indulgence. Good source of calcium, rBST-free and gluten-free.

Here’s some Greek frozen yogurt recipes:

Adonia Breakfast Parfait: Scoop a ½ cup of your favorite Adonia Greek frozen yogurt flavor such as Wild Blueberry or Vanilla, sprinkle on 2 ounces of granola and handful of raspberries (or any other berry or fruit).

Adonia Shake: In a blender add 2 scoops or ½ cup of your favorite Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt flavor such as Raspberry or Vanilla, 6-oz of fat-free milk and a half of a banana (or any other fruit or berry).

The result is two great ways to add protein to your breakfast or mid-afternoon snack while using Greek Frozen Yogurt that’s already in your freezer.

With record attendance of more than 60,000 industry members, Ciao Bella joined forces at the Natural Products Expo West with more than 2,000 natural, organic and healthy living exhibitors in Anaheim last week.

If you wonder how Ciao Bella gets noticed in Disneyland’s local convention center, which is considered the largest convention center on the west coast, think of a “how to wow” guide by Ciao Bella.  Picture a 20ft by 20ft booth filled with brightly colored packaging dressed with familiar swirls and snowflakes; more than sixteen mouth-watering flavors of gelato and sorbet in two sleekly designed Italian gelato cases aligned to a swank bar table and stools.  The 15ft Pink wall was the perfect back drop for Ciao Bella’s team of Bella Gals and Guys, all proudly adorning their brightly colored apparel to match the bright healthy frozen yogurt.  That is Wow.

Along with sampling our award winning sorbet and gelato flavors, Ciao Bella was proud to formally introduce our newest addition, Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt by Ciao Bella, to the natural products industry, sampling our new flavors – raspberry, mango, blueberry, vanilla, espresso, peach, and key lime.

Ciao Bella’s sorbets are better-for-you and super yummy so we couldn’t be more ecstatic they are now non-GMO verified. In order for our sorbet to be non-GMO verified the ingredients can not contain genetically modified organisms. The Non-GMO Project is a third party organization that provides non-GMO verification through a diligent process that measures the level of exposure risk. This process must be repeated annually.

What does this mean, you ask?

Let’s start with defining GMOs: Genetically modified organisms or GMOs are organisms, such as corn, soy or cotton, whose genes have been modified through biotechnology. The intention, with food organisms specifically, like sorbet, is to modify the genes of a particular organism so that it can be stronger or more resistant to various factors such as climate or even to enhance the health benefit to the consumer.

These sound like good things, what’s the issue? This technology is very new and its effects on the environment, human health and the economy have not been fully explored. Concerns range from extinction of bug species such as butterflies, the creation of ‘super’ weeds through cross-pollination and emergence of new human allergens.

During the day the SOBE Grand Tasting  tents are full of great food, liquor and wines from across the country and globe. But at night the party really gets started and Ciao Bella delivered frozen dessert perfection.

Burger Bash hosted by Rachael Ray, features samplings of the finest burger creations by some of the most talented chefs in the country. It’s easy to see why this is the hottest ticket of the whole festival – from Chef Bobby Flay to Chef Morimoto guests experience an evening of the best of the best. And with the best burgers comes the best desserts – Ciao Bella. For the sweets Ciao Bella provided scoops of diner inspired gelato. How could one resist the delectable and indulgent delights of Malted Milk Ball, Mocha Chip and Belgian Chocolate S’Mores gelato? We say – go ahead, indulge. For those looking for a more refreshing post-burger treat Ciao Bella scooped a classic, Grapefruit Campari sorbet. Known for its palette cleansing tartness, this sorbet has been a favorite among top chefs since its creation 15 years ago.

The Best Thing I Ever Ate Late Night Bites & Sweets was a truly swanky evening. From the array of artisanal tasting samples to the décor, this was a night to remember. And Ciao Bella’s plated desserts were certainly memorable. The sea salt caramel parfait delivered the perfect balance of sweet and savory. From the sweet cream caramel gelato to Godiva’s dark chocolate sea salt taste buds were left wanting more. And our Key Lime Graham gelato squares cut into quarters and served with a dollop of whip cream sent guests into dessert heaven.

Ciao Bella was back again at this year’s Food Network Wine & Food Festival in South Beach Miami under the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Tents. As noted in a recent Huffington Post article, greek yogurt has become increasingly popular in the last several years leading many frozen dessert companies to venture in the world of greek frozen yogurt.
