This is Brenden. He told us the Sicilian Lemon was his favorite, and then he danced for us. He was so cute!
Elle and I spent our first day off attending a Red Sox game (which they won against the Oakland A’s). Just as it was time to leave towards Fenway Park, the clouds parted and sunshine came through. Though chilly enough to need to purchase Red Sox sweatshirts, it was a perfect evening. We had hot dogs and peanuts and enjoyed the game. When we purchased the tickets they said “piggyback” in the “extra details” section. We figure this means nothing or if anything it’s probably fun. Now we know it means you sit in front of eachother instead of side to side (ahhh clearly). It worked out great though because we got to make friends with the people we sat next to and told them all about our gelato adventures.
After the game we met up with a couple old friends of mine who go to school in the area. It probably would have been best to catch a cab to the restaurant, but we quickly learned that after a game lets out, that’s a near impossible feat. Eventually (after working up a sweat from the walk) I got to see them adn catch up, which was great after not seeing them in about 3 years. I hope they can make it to an event this week.
The next day we headed over to Dole and Bailey to pick up product and thank everyone there for being so helpful! We discovered it was more efficient if the guys carried the product all the way to the truck (instead of me being the carrier), I thought I was building some arm muscles from these pick-ups but apparently not quite enough yet. Thanks guys! We then headed to Best Buy to get my computer fixed after it had crashed. The man there was determined to fix it and gave us all his concentration that afternoon. In appreciation we brought him his favorite Ciao Bella sorbet flavor Alphonso Mango. It’s great being a Bella Girl in times like these, people will return the favor of free gelato and sorbet!
Today we had a special guest join us all the way from New Jersey. It was great having Justine help us out! The first event was freezing and a tad slow, but we got to work out some kinks and met some great guys who immediately went in to buy some Key Lime Graham Cracker gelato after visiting us at the gelato mobile. The second event had a lot more people (thanks for coming to see us South Easton). And they really do deserve a thanks because whether we were near a farm, or cows or I don’t know what– the smell was awful. Loyal fans braved the thick tainted air to make it over to the truck. Welcome to the tour Justine!
At the end of the night Justine, Elle and I went to dinner at a restaurant called Ninety Nine (where kids eat free everytime the Red Sox win). It was quite delicious and we recaped the day as we enjoyed our meals. Tomorrow Justine will join us at our morning event and then she heads back to NJ, a short trip but we’re so glad she made it up here! Come out tomorrow to see her before the East Coast Bella Girls are back down to two. Also don’t forget to check our pages on facebook and twitter for our location updates!

Bella girl Lauren: I learn things reading your blog! Who were your old friends that you got to see? High school friends? And…, I’m sorry your computer crashed, but that you were able to get it fixed quickly. It seems you get to know where Geek Squads/Best Buys are in many cities! (Unfortunately.) Anyway, thanks for the update…and for giving me & other bloggers the continuing adventures of the East Coast Ciao Bella girls! Tell Justine hi from me… and Elle of course!
