These girls came by during their lunch break just for Ciao Bella!
Hello everyone, happy Tuesday to you! Elle and I got back into the swing of things after our day off yesterday. We started our day off by going to the pool at Jacob’s complex (this is where we are staying). The pool was closed so we set up chairs by the lake and read our books, it was really relaxing. I’m currently reading The Tao of Pooh and enjoying it so far. Later in the day I went to the local YMCA to do some running. Everybody at the gym was very friendly and I even still had people coming up to the truck wanting treats! I guess after a good workout there’s nothing more satisfying than a refreshing all natural sorbet with 60-80% fruit. Elle, Jacob and I then spent the evening having dinner at Fox and Hound, recharging for the next day of events!
And it’s a good thing we did! This morning was very busy. Our spot was right in front of the Fresh Market and we just so happened to be set up next to some lovely flowering trees with benches underneath. It was a very high traffic area and the line seemed to never end, it was a ton of fun. I talked with a man from Turkey who was excited to try the Turkish Pistachio and he loved it!
We had our usual wraps for lunch and then we were onto the next event. It was also a Fresh Market and though it was slower, we still had a great time meeting some more Raleigh residents. Connor, a 17-month-old, got so excited to see our truck his little feet hit the pavement as soon as the car stopped. He got to come inside the truck and get an inside look at a day in the life of a Bella Girl (he was a bit of a flirt). An owner of a nearby Italian restaurant told us how impressed he was that we actually had a Blood Orange sorbet, and to top it off a woman at the morning event loved her gelato so much she brought her husband to the afternoon event!
It was another delicious, fun-filled day and it was great meeting you all! Tomorrow is our last day in Raleigh before we hit the road for Richmond, VA so make sure to come see us!

I’m loving the blog reports! I look forward to the Bella Girl adventures every day!
